This post has been a long time coming, but as a blogger I am always trying out new skincare and tend to change up my routine quite a lot. When I was younger, I was terrible to my skin. I sun tanned everyday, wore lots of make up…and never washed my face at night. What can I say, I was young and careless. Now times have changed, and I realized that if I don’t take care of my skin now, I will look 50 at 30. Ekkk! For now, I have finally found myself a good routine with products I really love and that work for my skin. To let you know a bit about my skin type, I have combination to oily skin (Oily T-zone) and acne-prone. Until recently my acne has been out of control. If you want to know more about how I cleared up my acne, comment below or on social media, and I will dedicate a whole post to that topic.
I start the morning by cleansing my skin with Basq Rebalancing Facial Cleanser, which I have used religiously every morning. It is an exfoliating treatment cleanser, I apply a dime size amount of face cleanser and massaging in circular motions with my Olay Pro-X Cleansing Brush. The exfoliating micro beads in the cleanser make my skin so smooth. It is amazing, and the smell is wonderful! I hate when skincare products have too strong of a chemical smell. This one is simple and clean. The combination of this brush and cleanser is magic! I owe most of my acne clearing up to this step.
I then like to use the Clear Pore Oil-Eliminating Astringent. This is also a key step for my acne. The astringent is the oldest product in my skincare arsenal, it is one of my ride or die products. I use this for spot treatments too. If I start to break out I apply this with a q-tip right on the break out area.

I would love to know what you did to help clear up your acne. I’m very late 20’s, and my face, back, and shoulders still breakout like I’m in puberty! It’s very frustrating and somewhat embarrassing! I would love to know what tips you have.
