It is official, we are only one week away from Thanksgiving. How is that even possible? How has a year already flown by and now we are in the last few weeks of 2015? Getting older is such a trip, time flies faster and faster with every year that passes. I sometimes still feel like I am a teenager and it hasn’t hit me yet that I am officially adulting (Adulting- to do grown up things). Like yesterday, I back out of the driveway and hit the trash can… I thought I barely tapped the damn thing and come to find out I smashed my tail light. Oops…then John let me know that it would cost over $100 to fix. I was shocked, sometimes I forget that it’s up to me to fix things…not my parents.

One thing about adulting I do love is Thanksgiving. I love being the one that cooks all the food, I get it from my momma. I have grown up with Thanksgiving being a big deal, so as the woman of the house now, I treat it as such. The only thing I don’t like to worry about on that day is my outfit. With all the hustle and bustle of running around the kitchen, I don’t want to be in something super fancy or form fitting. Momma needs to be able to move around and not worry about ruining a silk blouse. When I saw this Thankful sweatshirt from Aleah Shop on Etsy, I was smitten. The colors and the words are so perfect for Thanksgiving. If you want to order this sweatshirt, I would do so by today (Nov 20th) so you receive it in time for the holiday. Along with sweatshirt, I paired leggings and some camel booties. Simple, effortless, and comfortable!
What will you be wearing on this Thankful day?

Adulting can be nerve wrecking. I just relocated from all the people that I love the most. It’s going to take a bit of adjusting! I love this outfit. Very laid back but still chic. You go girl! I hope that you and your family have a wonderful time together next week.
