Ok babes, this review has been such a long time in the making. I have had these products FOREVER now it seems. I really wanted to give them a long time to show me what they were made of. Let’s start off by chatting a bit about the company itself – Sanitas Skincare. I first heard about the brand from a Jaclyn Hill skincare video. I will link that here. If you know me, then you already know when Jaclyn or a few other YouTubers say they love something, I must try it for myself. The people that I trust are right 9 times out of 10.
Sanitas Skincare is not a line that is easily found on the market. Why is this you ask? Well, I tried to research them and it seems like they prefer to sell to licensed estheticians. However, in my hunt for this line I discovered that an online shop named Pharmaca carried the brand. I finally found the answer to why this brand is so hard to get: Sanítas Skincare is sold only to established businesses that employ licensed skin care professionals or physicians. Basically, they want you to see your dermatologist, esthetician, or even your handy dandy plastic surgeon. They want to be sure you are using the right products for your skin type/disorders because not all skin types can or should use the same products. Since I am oily, I wouldn’t use something for dry skin – it would send my skin in to a complete melt down. Sanitas Skincare products are designed to give your skin a work out in a similar fashion to the way we work out the rest of our body in the gym. You wouldn’t work out your arms for 7 days in a row and then your legs the next 7 would you? No, you give your muscles a break, and that’s what Sanitas believes in for your skin as well. So, let’s talk about the products I tested and how I used them.
Oil Free Moisturizer– This moisturizer is perfect before applying a primer/foundation. It dries completely, quickly and doesn’t leave a film on your skin.
Vita-Rich Moisturizer– This one is completely different than the Oil Free – obviously by its name you could tell that. The Vita-Rich is jam packed full of vitamins to help with anti-aging. I only apply this at night as it is too thick for a daytime moisturizer for me. If you are super dry, this would be an amazing daytime moisturizer for you.
Vita-Rich Serum– As far as serums go, this is my favorite by far. I could see a visible difference in my skin while using this product. I also only use this at night – you will be SUPER greasy after applying this baby – but in the best way. Just like the Vita-Rich Moisturizer, it is jam packed full of vitamins your skin longs for. Vitamin A – Stabilizes skin cell growth improves texture firms and smooths, Vitamin C – Protects heals and stimulates collagen production, Vitamin D – Stabilizes skin cell growth improves skin healing and immunity, Vitamin E – Antioxidant reduces skin redness and irritation, Vitamin K – Improves circulation minimizes bruising and redness.
PeptiDerm Eye Treatment– I have to admit that I SUCK at remembering to apply eye cream in my skincare routine. Forgetting this is a big no no because a lot of us will start showing our age around our eyes first. That’s why I was so excited to try this product. This eye cream is very high in peptides, which are amazing at fighting wrinkles and combating dark circles. I really struggle with front dark under eye circles. Let me throw out a bit of a warning about this product- it works VERY well. However, when I first started using this treatment, I was using it every night…bad idea. It is so strong that it made my eyelids red and puffy and they started flaking. I couldn’t even wear makeup on them. But, I backed off and started using it once a week, then twice a week, and so on and now I do not have a problem with it. It’s a great eye cream because you can apply it and follow with makeup. It dries down very quickly. Just be careful!
Retinol Resurfacing Treatment– Whoa, this treatment is amazing/intense. But is can result in the same problem I had with the eye treatment. I used it too often because I was loving the results until BOOM – my skin had a burnt like feel to it. Although, I am sure it is a little normal given what it is doing to your skin. When using anything with retinol, it is super important to stay away from the sun or use a high SPF. Also, do not go using another acid on your skin while using this product. I would highly recommend this to someone who has acne prone skin like myself or someone with a lot of sun damage.
Brightening Peel Pads– Let me start off by saying this was hands down my favorite product of all the Sanitas products I tested. If you have texture on your face such as white heads, black heads, or an uneven skin tone, I HIGHLY suggest giving this product a go! After only one week of using this product I could see a difference in my skin. This one will obviously be staying in my forever skincare routine.
Here is a little breakdown of how I used these products in my night time skincare routine on a rotating basis….
Brightening Peel Pads + PeptiDerm Eye Treatment + Vita-Rich Moisturizer
Vita-Rich Serum + Vita-Rich Moisturizer
Retinol Resurfacing Treatment + Oil Free Moisturizer
PeptiDerm Eye Treatment + Vita-Rich Serum
Once I figured out how Sanitas Skincare wants you to use their products I fell in love with them. Sanitas Skincare has a range of products for all skin types with prices anywhere form $15 all the way up to $170. But remember, you get what you pay for, and skincare isn’t something you should mess around with. If you want to try Sanitas Skincare, pop over to pharmaca.com/sanitas. They are having a 20% off sale right now too! Or, find a local esthetician who retails them if you still feel like you need more guidance about which products are best for you.
Have you tried Sanitas Skincare?
PR Samples- All opinions are my own.

I’ve been a huge fan of Sanitas products for years. I lived right around the corner from a Pharmaca, so I was very pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this product line. I was planning on being a lifelong loyal customer… until now. The Sanitas line just did a major overhaul, the most obvious is the packaging for all of their products has been changed. The not so obvious is they’ve also changed the ingredients in the two products I have used for over 8 years. They added Sunflower/Safflower and Palm oil to their Vitamin C serum and moisturizer. They have also raised the price of their products with this overhaul. Basically, the product is a much lower quality because of all the added fillers, but you pay more. I am extremely disappointed and will not be purchasing anymore Sanitas products. I hate it when companies do this. They produce a great high end product for long enough to get a loyal customer base and hope that the customers just blindly follow them forever. And if you haven’t already heard about how bad the production of Palm oil is, research it!! The addition of that one ingredient is the final nail in the Sanitas coffin for me.

Hi,
These Sanitas products sound fantastic, thanks for your review. I have a combination skin, and I can’t seem to find anything that will help me with it. Would be better if I can afford this too haha. Thanks for sharing!

I am looking to know the ingredients in the products. What are they made of? Is it organic? Do they animal test? I see the review above that they are now using palm oil and some Sunflower/Safflower oil which is also not great. I used the moisturizer sample and it is very greasy but was definitely a cream I could use for my Colorado dry skin IF it is organic and not full of bad stuff. Thanks.
Wendy @ Power Your Skin says
Hi Whitney,
I really like these products if these are organic and natural. I have sensitive skin, so the use of natural and organic products are safe to my skin. I hope these products are safe for my sensitive skin then I will buy sooner. Thanks.

I also found out about Sanitas through Jaclyn Hill! Like you, I absolutely fell in love with them! Did you try the Vita-C serum? It did WONDERS to my face. That and the brighten peeling pads changed my face in ways I couldn’t believe. It removed my acne scars, minimized my pores, got rid of texture and just had my skin looking youthful! I was so upset when they hiked their prices up extremely high. Even though the new packaging is nice, I would rather have the old with the amazing product. Do you know why they did that? Nice too see another Hillster fell in love with this line! <3
