It has been a little over a month now since I jumped on the essential oils band wagon. I must say I am still smitten by them. I continue to use them for their Aroma therapy benefits as well as their cosmetic benefits. However, most of the time I am using them in my diffuser around the house.
The diffuser I was using is OK, but it isn’t the best. It seems to get clogged a lot and honestly doesn’t cover a large area with the aroma of the oils. More than that, I don’t believe it blends well with the over all look of my house. I like the way it blends in with the bath rooms, but not our bedrooms and living spaces which is where I diffuse most often.
I set out to find something better – something more powerful and chic. I started doing my research and learned that there was so much more to diffusing and diffusers than I knew. In the world of essential oils, there are four different types of diffusers. There are nebulizing, ultrasonic, evaporative, and heat diffusers. From the research I have done, Nebulizing and ultrasonic seem to be the most therapeutically beneficial. A nebulizing diffuser works a lot like a perfume atomizer. Little tiny beadlets of essential oil are blown into the air as a very fine mist. The essential oil is broken into tiny particles and sent throughout the room. The name for this method is based on Bernoulli’s principle.
“Due to the fact that there is no heat involved, the original chemical structure of the essential oils are not altered or transmuted in any way. Therefore, the particles are able to be quickly absorbed by the human body in their most natural, original state. Also, because the Ionic Nebulizing Diffuser does not use water, the environment is able to stay dry. Consequently, this is the safest, longest lasting and most natural way to directly and completely diffuse pure, organic essential oil into the air without the use of heat or water.”
In my quest for the perfect diffuser, I trolled the pages of Amazon until I found a nebulizing diffuser that would fit all of my wants and needs. I quickly came across the Organic Aroma Essential Oil Diffuser and was instantly impressed by it’s design. The look of this little machine made the hippie in me sing! It is so classic yet, modern with a little bit of a bohemian vibe to it. They look unlike anything else I had come across in my search. But it wasn’t just the look that won me over, it was the benefits they claim and the reviews on the product as well.
Here are some of the benefits of this Diffuser…
No Heat – essential oil composition is not transmuted
No water added – essential oil will not emulsify or corrode, which I love. I don’t like putting extra water into the air in an already humid climate.
Complete diffusion of 100% of the oil without diluting its purity ( this is huge!)
Uses limited power and a safe DC voltage adapter with extremely long life
Quiet – can be used at night or very discreetly, this diffuser is louder than the other I own, but the sound doesn’t bother me at all.
Another benefit I like about this diffuser is the power levels at which you can control the mist. It runs for two minutes and then shuts itself down for one minute. This feature also helps you save on oils, it is not constantly running and wasting oils like some other diffusers. Like my other diffuser, this one also has a great little LED light that changes with the colors of the rainbow, so relaxing to watch. I love falling asleep to the sound, scent, and look of this diffuser.
Organic Aroma also has their own line of essential oils. The diffuser that I selected came with a set of six: Lavender, Purity Blend, Peppermint, Organic Sweet Orange, Energy Blend and Organic Rosemary. The olis came in a beautiful wooden box to hold them. I love the box so much because I can have the oils I use most sitting out with the diffuser and the box just looks like decor. I have been enjoying their oils just as much as the other brands I have tried.
My husband John has also become a lover of essential oils and was also super impressed by this diffuser. He is already planning on having one in this office when we get to the next base.
This Organic Aromas Diffuser, blows my first little one out of the water. I use less oil and the range and strength of the aromas are so powerful. Also, it is controlled by a small knob that makes the setting it super easy. No muss and fuss with a ton of buttons and switches. It can go from high to low in one little turn. The highest level is insanely strong, this little baby is not messing around. I can smell the scent even when I am in a different room. It has to be one of my favorite pieces of decor in my house now as well. All in all, I absolutely love this Organic Aromas Essential Oil Diffuser. Anyone that is into essential oils, this is a must for you. I have the Elegance model, but they have a few others to choose from even in hand crafted styles.

do. half quart of water for a room splash or use in a
