This one is for all the beauty queens out there – those who have ever had a melt down because they couldn’t find their liquid liner in a sea of disorganized makeup!
Over the years I have acquired my fair share of makeup and other beauty products. Being the beauty obsessed girl I am, I don’t feel embarrassed admitting that I have over 10 different types of foundations. Yes… I need AA for beauty hauling. Besides my husband and bank account being disappointed in me, the main issue that plagues this beauty hoarder, is organizing my mess. Since we have lived in GA, I have pretty much been using one drawer for all the makeup that I wear on the daily. And stressful isn’t even the word I would use to explain how I feel about this ONE drawer. I can NEVER EVER find what I am looking for. I swear that once a day there is a little fairy that comes and steals pieces of makeup out of this overcrowded drawer.
I have been looking into finding a better way of organizing my mess once and for all. I have had my heart set on a huge room with a large, white Ikea table vanity with lights, and lots of tall drawers. However, being that I have spent so much cash on makeup and other beauty products, that just isn’t in the cards for me right now. So, I set out to find something more affordable and easier to get my hands on.
Enter U.S Acrylic Cosmetic Organizers… AKA my sanity savers! I came across this company while window shopping on Amazon for makeup organizers. I instantly fell in love with the clear organizers and stackable drawers. They are like perfect puzzle pieces, you can mix and match different types of drawer and top organizers to fit your needs and your current makeup collection. I love the transparency of these organizers because I can look for exactly what I need without even opening the drawer! Going from a single bathroom cabinet drawer to a beautiful and functional setup like this has seriously improved my mood and routine when getting ready.
I currently have the …
–Audrey cosmetics organizer
–Audrey 2 drawer cosmetic organizer
–Audrey 1 drawer cosmetic organizer
In the top organizer, I have my MAC lipsticks (upside down so I see which color I am grabbing), lip liners & glosses, concealers, eyeliners, brow products, makeup sprays, and my lotions, creams and remover.
In the middle drawer I have the eye palettes that I reach for most often.
The bottom large drawers are my most loved foundations and powders, bronzers, setting powders and highlighters.
For all of my brushes, I have a clear square glass vase. I found it at a craft store awhile back for under $10. At one point I had whole coffee beans holding the brushes up, but I am in the middle of looking for something better.
I obviously do not have all my makeup organized here, just the products I reach for most often. I am hoping that when we head to the next house I will have all of my makeup organized in these beautiful US Acrylic organizers!
How do you organize your makeup?

I love these organizers. I decided to get the drawers from IKEA and I have plastic containers in them to keep my stuff organized but I do need more. I have my brushes in a diy glitter vase I did for them.

When we move to the next post I really want to buy the IKEA Drawers!

I LOVE these organizers! I actually just purchased two sets last week from Amazon. I think the clear aspect makes it easier to find things and holds you accountable to keep it organized as it is out there for anyone to see. Organizing makeup is something that I don’t think I will ever fully master unless I build sephora like displays in my house but, these are a start!

I agree, I love love love that they are clear!

I love the way you organized everything. Wish I had the dedication to be as organized.

I wasn’t always this organized! It came after I kept getting upset because I could NEVER find anything I was looking for.

Cute idea. I’ve never thought of this because I don’t have a ton of makeup, but I do have enough to create some structure. And I’d probably use different looks more often if everything was out in the open like this. Thanks for the inspiration!
