Wow, I cannot believe the last time I sat down to write a blog was over three months ago. Wait, thats a huge lie; I sat down and even started to write tons of times. But something would always distract me or keep me from finishing my thought. And thus the blog idea would be forever lost in the busy sea of other thoughts in my mind. I feel very different from the last time I wrote, my outlook on life has some what changed – which is another reason I took so much time away from The Whitney Story. To be honest, I have just been lazy – like to the point I have seriously contemplated watching gossip girl for the fourth time (don’t judge). With that being said, I felt I should explain my leave of absence before I return to a regular blogging schedule…whatever that is.
I feel like the title of this post explains my life lately. Fifty Shades of ADD is #mylife. With moving a few months ago, having a miscarriage, starting a new business, and being a stay at home mom, oh, and still trying to blog – I have really been struggling to keep it all together. My biggest problem right now is with my ADD, for once I feel like my anxiety is more under control (thanks to Nirvana Yoga KY). But, I still have days when I just can’t seem to chill out and think clearly. Sometimes I don’t even remember to text people back after I open the text… and by sometimes, I mean like all the time lately.
Happy Friday BABES! I’ve had so many random thoughts bouncing around in my head today, so I thought I would share them with ya!
If you are a loyal reader of this blog I am sure you have been wondering just where in the hell I ran off to. Things have been pretty insane around here for the past few months and I honestly don’t even know where to begin explaining where I have been and what’s been going on.
Happy FriYAY Dolls! Eekk I am beyond pumped for this day! This is hands down the most exciting Friday I can remember. Today marks a very extraordinary day in my life. Today is the day I officially become a business owner. Whoa, that is still so crazy to say. I have always dreamed of being able to be my own boss and that day has finally come.

In today’s world, us mommas are on the move a lot – so much to do, so little time. There is grocery shopping, trips to the Zoo, and simply getting out to exercise; you name it, we’re doing it. With spring finally here, being on the move is even more likely. No more being stuck inside by the cold winter weather. Lately, our little family has been taking nature walks to get out there and see the world a bit more. Taking Charlotte to parks is fun and all, but we love taking her on nature walks where there is always something new to see and experience.
