Hey Dolls!
So I am finally back with a fashion post! Ahhhh, it has been too long! With all of the beautiful chaos going on in my life day to day, it is hard to make time to get out there and shoot. Between John’s wrist surgery and running after Char all day there hasn’t been much time for blogging. I have missed it…time for me to come into my office with a fresh caramel macchiato and sit down to write and edit pictures. It has become my little getaway from daily life.
In a state where summer never seems to end, the few days of spring are welcomed with open arms! I always thought I wanted to live in the south. Nice weather almost all year round? Yes, please. BUT the part that I didn’t think about is that when it’s hot … it’s REALLY hot! I am from the midwest, we have all four season up there. I ordered this outfit a few weeks ago, thinking …ehhhh I have time to wear this, it’s only March. HA! Was I wrong, it has already been in the high 80’s!
Needless to say, I have been dying to share this outfit with you babes. I am seriously obsessed with the color blush this spring. It is so feminine and girly and perfect for this time of year. Spring is a time to break out all those bright pastels that have been hiding in your closest all winter long. Or a time to head to the mall for your spring shopping haul.
This outfit all started when I renewed my membership with Shoe Dazzle again. I came across these gorgeous, blush Steve Madden sandal heels. You know when you come across a perfect pair of shoes for a new season and your heart just melts? These were it for me. From the color to the stud accents, these shoes give me life. After I purchased them I had the idea for an all blush outfit. I remember seeing these blush distressed jeggings from American Eagle and I knew they were a must for this look and spring. Forever 21 is my go to place for tops when I’m not shopping at Express. I found this super comfy blush shirt for $11.90 along with an amazing statement necklace. Then a few days later I was walking through target and the perfect bag was magically there! Blush backpack purse, could it be any cuter? For a little extra sparkle I added a few bracelets from Express.
Here in Georgia spring doesn’t last long, so my time with this outfit is limited. I will have to trade in the blush sweatshirt for a tank soon. But this outfit is perfect for cool spring nights and Sunday morning brunch with your besties!
