Hey dolls!
You have to admit, Argan oil products have become the new black of the cosmetic industry. Today I am going to be reviewing Elma & Sana’s Argan oil products! Last Christmas, my thoughtful mother in-law gifted me a mix of their products. I got lucky with her, she is the sweetest woman ever. She is my go-to source for all things natural, from organic foods to energy saving, and, of course, health and beauty products. Needless to say, I fell head over heels in love with the stuff. I had been looking into buying Argan oil for use as a moisturizer for some time. There were so many amazing reviews on the benefits of it. The down side: It’s so freaking expensive! The big name brands are selling this product for almost 50% more than Elma & Sana. Crazy, right? Well, normally I am the type of girl that believes you get what you pay for… but I did my research and have tried the “big brands” as well. This Argan oil works the same if not better, really.
Ok, now let’s talk about what Argan oil is and why it’s so amazing as a beauty product. Argan oil is a natural oil found exclusively in Morocco. it is mechanically pressed from the nuts of Argan trees by an expeller press (oil pressing machine). The main use for Argan oil is to provide moisture to hair and skin. You could literally cover your body in it if you wanted! For skin, a few drops of this liquid gold on your face and neck is all you really need. You can also mix it with other cosmetic products. I like to wash my face, use a toner, apply my lotion, and finish with the oil to lock it all in place. As for using it in your hair, I find it to be an amazing leave in treatment. However, you can also use it as a quick hair mask for 30 minutes before washing your hair. You may also be wondering why you would put oil on your hair and skin? Isn’t it greasy? No… it’s not, it is super fast absorbing. Anyone can use Argan oil, it will work great on all skin and hair types.
On to a few products I have:
100% Pure Organic Argan Oil Moisturizer
“Cold pressed Argan Oil perfect for all skin and hair types with many benefits and purposes. A few drops massaged gently into the skin or the scalp achieves outstanding restorative hydration benefits. Great for fingernails to!”
Elma and Sana sell this product in five different sizes! Yes five, with prices starting at only $20. The sizes range from 1 oz – 32 oz.
Rose Water
“For many centuries, Morocco women have been using Rose Water to tone, balance and refresh their skin”
This Rose Water is fabulous as a toner. It leaves my skin feeling so clean and soft. This product has also really calmed down my acne. You can also mix it with the Ghassoul Moroccan Lava Clay Power to make a detoxifying facial mask!
Moroccan Ghassoul Lava Clay Powder
“This “clay powder” can be used as a detoxifying cleanser, skin conditioner, shampoo, facial and body mask. It reduces dryness, extractive abilities that remove impurities and unblock pores- even stubborn blackheads. As a hair treatment, Moroccan Ghassoul clay cleanses the hair, removing impurities and leaves hair bouncy and full of voluminous.”
This clay powder is also amazing when mixed with the Argan oil. The two together create a wonderful hair mask.
Argan Oil Shea Butter Moisturizing Blend
“Hydrates and balances your skin. Use it as a moisturizer for dry skin, as a dry scalp treatment, for chapped lips and to help soften cracked dry skin on heels, elbows, and/or knees. Comes in a delightful scent of Lavender”
Of all the products they make, this one might just be my favorite. Maybe it’s because I am obsessed with the smell of lavender. There have been days where I put this in my hair, on my face, and all over my body! I cannot say enough good things about this product. My husband John also loves it for after he is done shaving. Being in the Army he has to shave everyday, so his skin dries out pretty easily.
Alright Dolls, that’s it for the review. I hope it was enlightening! These are just a few of the products they offer. Don’t forget to check out Elma & Sana online

Many have suggested that it will be better if you use a product that does not contain harmful chemicals.
Nowadays, one can easily find organic skin care products,
from untreated skin moisturizers and natural skin rejuvenators,
to organic facial cleansers and all-natural acne treatments.
Somehow, it tells a story on whom we are and what we
are doing.
